My Birthday Gift This Year

I have not celebrated my birthday for last 21 years, but this year I have changed my mind. I thought to use your gift and love for me in shaping someone's future :)

For my birthday on Dec. 14th, I'm asking my friends, family and community members for a special gift: help me raise $1095 for Helping Hand Orphan Sponsor Program. It's a great cause that takes good care of orphans all over the world. For just $ 30 / month we can provide food shelter and education to a child in any country of our choice. If you help me raise $1095 this year, I can sponsor 3 children.

I chose Helping Hand Orphan Sponsor Program, because I have worked with them myself and have seen their camps. I especially like it, because Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. - Narrated by Sahl bin Sa'd. Helping Hand makes this a little easier for us.

Please consider giving to my Birthday Wish, and together we can sponsor 3 orphans and make this world a better place for them. Although I recommend a $30 donation, any amount would help, even a dollar.

Update on December 16, 2010:

By the grace of God, I received $ 652.00 in birthday gifts. This amount is enough to sponsor 3 orphans for 7 months. I have requested Helping Hand Relief to help me in sponsoring  one child from Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan each. They will receive the check from Causes next month and will process this request then.
